Severe tricuspid valve regurg due to pacemaker lead

I have just been told that my severe TR is the result of interference from my pacemaker lead, installed initially in 2007. My EF went down from 55 to under 30 over the past 5 years, partially due to pacemaker syndrome and dyssynchrony of the ventricles, but also, apparently because of the lead. I just had a BiV CRT ICD implanted 3 weeks ago at which time they found this situation. Apparently surgery is called for.

I was wondering if anyone on this forum had undergone this procedure and how it went.

Haven't had any work done on my tricuspid valve, so sorry can't help, But sorry to hear you need surgery,
