At about..maybe..11pm, last night ..woke up to pain and numbness going from mid chest through left arm... grabbed my bottle of nitrostat..dropped many tiny pills on carpet..Solomon is moaning and John is trying to gather a tiny pill for me.. got one under the tongue and focused on my breathing... it was bad... , am seeing coagulation nurse on Monday..think I will ask to see dr as well. It was bad.... :eek:
 
Thankyou, this morning I kind of thought it was dream.lol.. :eek: , it was'nt... still have some jaw pain..if this continues today I will go to ER..its unstable, and is trying to tell me something... :eek: ,only if the nitro dosent affect it, last night it seemed like forever for it to stop.. :eek:
 
I'm sorry, I came to visit you unanounced and that sometimes happens. I won't do it again. :( :D

Do you need me to scold you like a small school girl?
 
Lol..I just knew I had a nocturnal visitation... I only accept scoldings with a ruler... :p

I am sorry that I don't know more of your history but, I would think that if you still have pain this morning, you should go to the ER. I have always heard that, if you have pain "bigger" than the nitro can treat, it needs additional medical attention.

Please take care and have it looked at further.

When i rang up about my son's pains in his chest, they said if there was a problem he would have pains in is arm aswell. Please get checked out
 
Hope you got some help in time! I had that chest pain a little over 5 weeks ago and something told me to go to the ER. I never experienced the crushing pain that some complain about when having a heart attack. Looks like you've had alot of blockage. Wow 17 stents!.. I know its not funny but I did find it funny that I had been having strange pains in my upper chest, my shoulders neck and jaw. I had some very slight pain in my upper arms on both sides. Since my surgery I haven't had any of those pains....I supposed thats a good thing! My wife and my doctor have me on all the low fat stuff now. Hope your Ok!
 
Yaps. not sure that it is OK to wait 'til tomorrow to seek help...those symptoms sound really like it needs to be checked out.

I am hoping that you have gone off to the ER.

Don't take any chances and get to the doctor's as soon as possible. Your body's giving you the chance and time to do whatever needs done, but don't underestimate it, please!! You have quite a complex heart history and any warning signs that something isn't well, must be taken very seriously. Keep us posted and take care!

Yaps, did you take more nitro for the achy jaw this am? You've got such a complicated cardiac history I'm going with the feeling that if you even question whether or not to go then you should. You know your body better than anyone but waking up with severe chest pain is not a good thing. Take care of yourself, OK?
 
Thankyou everyone..I did take another nitro yesterday morning, as my jaw just wouldnt behave..I do realise its angina..(bought stock in nitrostat.. :p :eek: ), am going to try to see my cardio today, between this and the chf...well Im just going to hope he will let me come home.. :eek: , Im supposed to have started accupril..havent yet , was holding back during 'Rita' watching her and saving available funds in case we had to flee.
Will let you know how it turns out. Love the pup

Which is precisely why I asked her if she needed me to scold her like a silly school girl! ;)
 
Saw dr..its as I said.. he wished hospitalisation , but admits all they can do is a cath.... so..I will wait until nitro dosent work at all. Must have them constantly...love you all ,Yaps

Thankyou, you see I have severe arteriosclerosis, premature and severe, it runs in my family, we do not absorb folic acid prroperly.,my father , my aunt, my grandmother...me, my son and daughter...I block so bad, almost constant..this killed members of my family at a very young age.
As the drs say..they cant stent all of me , and all we do is medicate, and attempt to stem the flow.... they feel I was born with this to have it at this severity..many have this, but at a much later age...after my valve replacement and quad..I was still bad, near death..had emergent surgery again.. nothing they can do.. I will stop whining now forgive me..love the pup
