I just realized that the only time I post on here is to find out more info on my own personal condition.I really want to apoligize for this and thank all the experts that have answered my questions. Even tho I don't have any answers to help anybody I will at least try and provide a shoulder and prayers for everyone in need. Again, please forgive me for thinking of myself only.
This is a great site and I imagine I will be on here for many years to come since I will be having my avr in January.

Don't worry about it Randy.
You say you don't have any answers (I doubt that!;) ), but you can relate your own experiences now and later after your valve replacement.

Experience equals expertise almost any day as far as I'm concerned.:) :):)

Randy-

We have all been in a position of need, some on many occasions, myself included. That's what this site is all about you share when you can, help when you can, and take when you need to. And you can even share some interesting non-medical stuff.

It all works!

Randy,
I have to echo your sentiments as well. I'm new to all of this and just joined in March 05. I posted for the first time in March and for the second time just this past week when I needed some help figuring out what to do. I had been lurking and reading in the meantime but did not feel qualified to answer anyone since I haven't really experienced anything yet. I even felt funny returning to ask a question since I was "away" for so long.

Ironically this past week I made the same decision as you and actually responded to 3 posters just to offer some encourgement and support. I figured I knew how to do that - that just comes with being a human being right?

It was nice to hear from Nancy, Ross and Mary that we can hang around and ask our questions even if we can't contribute much more than a shoulder to lean on right now. Thanks! And a bigger thanks to all the members who so unselfishly give of themselves to us newbies!

Take Care!

Randy,

Just jump in and type away. You will be surprised at what you can offer. It may be just the right thing for someone to read. Everyone here will need a shoulder or an understanding "eye" to help them get through and maintain this walk we will or have faced.

And anyway, not having ANYTHING to type has not stopped Ross or Mary from burning up the keyboard.:D :D :D :D

Type away and,

May God Bless,

Danny

Randy,

Just because you don't have as much experience as some of us doesn't mean you don't have more than someone else. To a person who just heard about their heart problem you will seem like an expert.

We were all novices at one point.

Randy, Don't be silly! I've remembered so much of my experience since joining this forum, and I like to think relating them to some of you may be of help. Certainly gives me a good feeling to be a part of this special community! Keep the posts coming! All the best, Brian:D

Randy, I don't see you being selfish at all. We all have something to offer each other. We all have a lot in common. You may say just the right thing that someone needs to hear. It's amazing the love that we all have for each other. Sometimes we are in need like I was just last week. Who did I call on for support and prayers? My valve replacement friends. The prayers that went up for me were amazing and they were answered in a positive way. Just remember we are all here for each other! !
