Scott,
I know due to time zones you are a day ahead of the United States, so you're looking at surgery tomorrow. I guess you've had all the prelimary tests run since you've been hospitalized all ready for three days!
Best wishes for a successful avr and an easy recovery. We'll be waiting to hear all about it when you return.
God bless and Godspeed!

hi scott

at least the wait is over and by wednesday you will be back on the road to full health very soon. we are all looking forward to hearing all your news after surgery

good luck mate!

Thanks everyone . My surgery is scheduled for 7:30 am. 13 hours away. I was told this afternoon that I may have a dilated aorta requiring replacement, and am waiting for a ct scan to confirm it tonight before making final decisions about the valve type. The surgeon was open to using my preferred on-x, but my aortic root is quite small so he may not be able to. If I need the aorta done he will use the st jude all in 1 model.
