Say a little prayer for my brother's friend please

I know how good you all are about saying a prayer for those in need of comfort. My younger brother's friend Mikey died suddenly on Tuesday in a snowboarding accident - there's a report here:

They had been friends their whole lives and it's been a tremendous shock to say the least.
But I think maybe we could all learn something from Mikey - to get out there and live your dreams. I know I'll be trying to do that from now on.

Please support your brother. A couple days ago I was cleaning out some stuff and came across a heartrending letter from my son sent to me a long time ago. He lost his best friend in a jet ski accident at that time - both boys were in late 20s. He was suffering so much. At a time like this, we need to touch them and stay in touch.

Hello Gemma, I'm so sorry to hear such sad news. I myself have a best friend whom I've known for nearly 30 years now and I can't even begin to imagine how I would react if something happened to him. We've discussed death a few times and what we would do once one of us is gone, but I guess this is not the sort of thing we're ever prepared for. Anyway, I want you to know that you will all be in my thoughts and prayers.
