He seems to think that all is well with my heart, he also seemed to be satisfied with the echo report which I gave to him.

I told him about my 'funny turn' the other week and he was concerned and didn't think it was a panic attack. What he did say about the light-headed feeling that I get was that it could be dehydration, that can cause people to feel light-headed. He has told me to stop taking the co-amilofruse tablets, said that if I have high blood pressure (which I don't) then another medication could be used - blast, I have more than three months supply in the cupboard! :) He seemed to think that this drug isn't necessary now that my valves are performing well. If I get more 'funny turns' he will arrange for a monitor to check it out because of my history of complete heart block.

As regards the coughing up blood-streaked sputum, he says that I probably ought to see the consultant that I saw last year when this first started, he will send him a letter.

He doesn't need to see me for another six months unless I have more problems, he is happy with everything apart from my lungs. What a pity, he is real eye candy! ;)

Glad to hear the news is positive. Just keep an eye out for "funny turns"--are you documenting them?

I also like the term "eye candy." It's nice when your doc isn't hard on the eyes. :p

Take care and keep us posted--
