I was in San Antonio yesterday and today and thought about my Magnificent 7 buddies. Unlike when we were there, the weather was beautiful this weekend. Yesterday was busy with a cheerleading competition (my daughter's team won!), but last night we stayed at the Marriott Riverwalk and today we went to the Ripley's Haunted House and toured the Riverwalk. The margaritas are still great!
One of the volunteers at my school, who was 70-80, died last week. She had some type of heart procedure a while back, but I'm not sure what. Anyway, they found her sitting in her chair, dressed in pajamas, where she had apparently been watching the baseball game. I hope that her team won! Wouldn't we all like to go that way?
