I wanted to
let you know, so you could get the word out to everyone, that Bonnie is very
bad off. Her husband, John found her laying in the floor unconscious Monday
morning. She was rushed to the hospital were it was determined she had
suffered a massive stroke. I have just returned from the hospital to put
the kids to bed and thought her fellow heart patients would want to know why
she will be unavailable for e-mails. We are hoping and praying for a
miracle but the doctors do not give her much of a chance. She has a lot of
blood on her brain and there is no activity her brain stem. The family will
have to sit down tomorrow and decide if she stays on the respirator or we
take her off. Can you please let her friends know what happened and keep us
in your prayers. Thanks.

Oh, my God

I am so distressed. She is such a wonderful upbeat woman who always gave great encouragement to everyone. I am in shock. I don't know what to say.

May God Bless her and her family.

Oh no! This is very sad news! Bonnie, with the bright and cheerful and colorful posts! Words fail me... Shocked.
I'm very sorry to read this; thanks for passing the information on to us, Ross. I'll be hoping for better news for Bonnie and her family and her friends.

Well you know this one is tearing me up pretty good. She's been like a mom to me for so long, that I feel like I'm losing another one.

I was going to call her in a little bit to see why she hadn't answered yesterday's emails.
We write each other every day, and exchange phone calls when the news we have to share will take too long to put down on paper.
Bonnie learned last fall that she had an aneurysm growing again, and I promised I wouldn't tell anyone because she didn't want a fuss made.
No fuss . . . that is Bonnie.

Thanks for posting this. I am so very very saddened to hear this. I've always enjoyed reading her posts. I remember the little "gift" she sent to everyone at the 2004 reunion in Golden CO.

Oh My God

Oh My God

This is so very sad and shocking
Our Bonny.....always upbeat, cheerful and encouraging.

I'm lost for words.

Many prayers to the family and friends

Bonnie is not LIKE family, she IS family. This is so shocking. I am praying for another one of God?s miracles and pray He supports and uplifts John and the rest of her family in the next few days.

Bonnie and John, we love you both.

May God Bless and Keep You,

Danny

Our hearts go out to Bonnie and her family today. We are praying for a miracle. What a kind lady Bonnie is. I also feel like a member of my family is that hospital. A very sad day for us all.

This is such distressing and shocking news. Miss Bon Bon is always so full of love, humor and support for every single one of us -- now it's our turn to support her and John and their family with mounds of prayers going up.

A true Southern Lady she is..

What? I can't believe this!! We just talked on Chat Sunday about getting together this fall in Ellijay!!
Oh my goodness.. PRAYING now for a miracle Bless you Bonnie.. praying hard!!

This is a total shock.

This is a total shock.

I just got on this morning and to read this just blows me away.
Bonnie has been a wonderful lady and a good friend to all.
I always called her my southern belle.
She is far too young to suffer this, the same age as my dear wife.
Like others have said this is no different than losing a family member.
Our thoughts and prayers for Bonnie and her family.
Rich

This is so upsetting to me. I just spoke with Bonny last Sunday on chat. She always was so uplifting to others and always had something good to say.
Heartfelt prayers go out to her and her family. I am praying for a miracle.
God be with her.
