Just saw on the news that the Old Capitol Grill where we had our Sat. Night Dinner during the 2004 Reunion was destroyed by fire this afternoon. It sounds like it was a total loss but the good thing is no one was injured.
Take Care

Dave,

Dave,

You scared the livin' daylights out of me with that title to your thread!! I've had enough LD scared out of me this week. :)

I hadn't heard that about the Old Capitol Grill - suppose it will be on the news tonight. Too bad to lose a landmark.

Dave:
Sorry to read that!!!!!!!!!! That grill was wonderful. And our server was a great woman. If I remember right, she lost her son during/right after VR surgery. She had inquired about our vr.com name tags and that's how we learned about her son.

*nods*

Yep, Marsha, she did inquiry about the group of us ... and she shared about her son. Didn't we do something special for her, too?

Holy crap ... that was such a nice place, too. Very sorry to hear that it was destroyed by fire :(.

Wow, I'm sorry to hear about that restaurant. It really was a nice place, and yes, I too remember that waitress. That was so unbelievably ironic.
