Ross procedure

Hi all, i have been told that the ross procedure can not be preformed on the mitral valve (but not by doctors). I have posted a thread before and was given info on the ross, so does anybody have any information about this or know why it carnt be done on the mitral valve? Thanks Paula x

It has been done on the mitral valve (mitral valve autograft). To my knowlegdge, it is not being further pursued currently, however.

I had a few minutes, but didn't locate the link for that. It's out there, though.
