I just have to pass on my feelings about Ritz Camera... their customer service is outstanding.. one of my customers digital camera broke while on vacation a couple weeks ago and while Eckerds told her there was nothing they could do to retrieve over 300 pics off her card, Ritz did and for only $25.
then today I received a call from my local Ritz store telling me they found my remote switch I've been looking for for my minolta slr.. (mentioned earlier thread I was searching) since Minolta went out business, i'm kinda at the mercy of what ever is left as far as extras.. I knew he didn't have any in stock regionally, but he took it further and found one in Connecticut.. being shipped down to him for me...
same with some special effect filters.. not minolta specific, but going the extra mile to bring what I want to me.. at least I have my lenses..
while I am a B2B collector, i've always done so within a customer service/sales environment.. so I appreciate great customer service and not above passing the good word around... If Ritz continues, they won a customer for life..
look for pics to follow within the next month.. first one.. a redo of a pic I did many moons ago showing the earths' rotation with respect to the stars.. hopefully this time i'll get swirls instead of just short streaks (due to how long the shutter is left open)
