Well... I need to vent here a minute :D I have been trying to get Andrew into cardiac rehab for several months, between the cardiac arrest, the financial problems, rejection by places, I was really about ready to quit.

I finally got the okay from division of specialized children's services that they would foot the bill. So I call the cardiologist at the hospital that wanted to see Andrew before accepting him into their rehab program. After feeling like the receptionist was not getting what I was saying she made a tenative appointment. By the time I got home there was a message saying the appointment was canceled he couldn't see anyone under 18. She totally ignored the fact that if she had any questions to call the cardiac rehab place.

So called back today after trying to call the rehab several times- they were closed for some reason- and talked to another receptionist who actually listened to me. I explained that the cardiologist was the one who wanted to see Andrew. So after a minute or two I had a new appointment but lost the day before which worked out much better for me but oh well.

Now all we need is for this doctor to accept him and then we can start. I am trying not to b pessimistic but have had a lot of set backs so far. Would apppreciate your prayers for this to go through. August was a long time ago and June even longer. thanks for being around to vent to. I feel better already.

I absolutely hate these insane battles we have to fight just to get treatment for our kids (the great dental handoff is still fresh in my mind). YOu have my sympathy and I pray that this gets resolved soon. Much love. J.

I remember that Janet. That was a battle and a half. :(

Thanks for caring!
