Hi,

I know that medication for regurgitation may just be there to delay the inevitable (I'll take a large delay, please!), I was wondering what others out there "in the waiting room" are taking. My cardio prescribed 25mg of Coreg and 5mg of Norvasc daily. The other medicine mentioned was Procardia, which would be used in place of Norvasc. Everyone's situation and condition is different, but is this consistent with what others are taking or took in the past? Thanks!:)

When Chloe's regurg was getting worse she was taking frusemide, spironalactone (both diuretics) and captopril.

Only minus the aldactone.............just lasix and captopril. Maybe it's different for kids. Enalapril and captopril are very similar, though. However, enalapril is longer acting and used in adults more for some reason. Enalapril is twice a day and captopril is thrice daily. Katie's still on captopril, btw, although a much, much smaller amount than she was pre-surgery. Hugs. J>

I have been in the waiting room for eleven years and I take Diovan Hct and Procardia.
