Curtsmum

Hi everyone, not been around for awhile, you know how life gets. Curtis's results from his cardiac cath and toe came back fine, just slight high pressure on his lungs. He also had a scan on june 2nd which was fine too but they want to see him again in 4 months instead of the usual 6 months and guess what i didn't ask why but all in all he is doing well, so i'm not worried yet. I was wondering if the parents of young children had seen the rag dolls with scars, i got Curts from the childrens heart federation. somthing nice to have and keep. They are avalible in girl or boy. What a wonderful, hugable doll! I wonder if we have them here in the US. I'm sure that helps make it easier for children to talk about their experience, point to their pain, and have something to hug when they cough!!

Thanks! Marguerite

they do have simular dolls areound here. i don't have the link off the top of my head right now. When justin was a toddler going thru surgeies we got him a cobbage patch dolls 9glenn Justin to be exact lol) and drew the scars on ourselves, they let glenn to to all of justin's procedures and would put banaids on Glenn too, It really helped.
