Hi all, once again I appear as I need some sensible advice!!
On Friday I had a radial angiogram performed to see if there was any problems with my arteries as I have frequent tight band pain round my chest on the slightest exertion, plus tired, can't do hills etc.
Well the procedure was not a great experience and I was in immense pain for a good period of the procedure. Healing wise however not too bad until this morning - I am having problems straightening my arm and have intense pain near my elbow when I attempt to do this and other periodic pains near the elbow - is this normal ??
My second question relates to the results of angiogram, apparently there is no problem which in one way is good news but on the other hand what is causing my pains, lack of ability to perform basic physical tasks ? I have an aneurysm and apparently it's not that either. However is it normal during an angiogram for the lv to NOT be looked at ? As this is what was written on my notes, I have previously been informed that my left ventricle is impaired but is this a reason not to 'investigate' or would it be considered too dangerous due to biventricular pacemaker .....confused .....
Any thoughts greatly appreciated, thanks
Ruth
