Question regarding steroids

Talked to my Dad yesterday, and his voice very hoarse. He and my brother both say its from the steroids hes on due to the lung problem. His last dose yesterday. Is hoarseness a common side effect? Also he will be seeing him GP tommorow and should get the ok to fly home.

Pam...I have taken them before AVR for lung issues and was hoarse also....Sounds like he is doing well....Hope he gets to go home soon!!

I guess everyone is different. I have been on them too many times to count (once for almost a year) and have never had problems with hoarseness.

Praying he is home very soon.
