You know things just never get boring at my place. Prettty soon you are going to think I make this stuff up for attention or something.:D But seriously, my youngest son had an ECG acouple weeks ago and last friday his pediatrician told me his q-t is a bit prolonged. Not terriblly but enough that he wanted Andrew's cardiologist to take a look at it.

I made all the appropriate calls and waited for the returns and come Monday I learned that they want to see him before they will make any comments. The ped is pretty sure it is nothing I think, but our record has not been too good for things that might happen. So I am prepared for the chance that it might be a real problem.

Anyways all I know is that the interval is probably 4.6 on that ecg for the q-t. I am a bit familiar with long q-t and know that is sometimes borderline so I am really hoping it is nothing.

We will see the cardiologist Feb 9th.

And... medicaid will not cover Andrew's rehab so we are filing out all sorts of paper work to see what we can get. I also got a call from the rehab place saying Andrew would need to see the doctor who is the head of their rehab program to see if he can even use their facility. I really thought that was almost over...so we will see.

Besides this, everything is grand except I am having chest pains and extra palpitations. I figure it is just the stress of everything but I am about ready to see if I can find a good doctor that will see me. I had been putting it off waiting for Randy's insurance to take effect but we are unable to pay the 125.00 a week that it would cost us. Hmm.:(

Just sending ((((((((hugz)))))))) from 1 mum of 3 cardiac-kids to another mum of 1...all the best...we must be special mums to have these precious kids...

God Bless...

Hugs coming from here too. Let's hope this is boarderline and is something that is really just normal for him. Keep us informed. We'll be thinking of you guys.

Hey get the rehab facility to give you excercise instruction sheets and institute rehab yourself. There isn't really a need to go to the facility other then having someone there make sure that your doing what you need to be doing. Forced discipline if you will. If someone isn't making you do this stuff, you'll likely not want to do it on your own, because it is tough. Just a suggestion, throw it away if you wanna.

I doubt the qt is anything of significance.
