I just wondered if your docs ever told you that you might have a detached retina? I know, for your photos, that you wear glasses. People who are near-sighted have a tendency for detached retinas. A detached retina can give the effect of a curtain falling before your eyes, as you have described.
I couldn't remember if you said that you had checked into this or not.

Thanks for your email. I have been checked for detached retina - that's what they initially suspected 2.5yrs ago when I suffered the first episode.

Are you still biking??? I have just started running again!!! I am an American of Welsh descent---son is an excellent soccer player-he has the speed of a striker--but tough enough to switch to fullback in a pinch (that is what his English coach told me) I don't understand a lot about soccer.
