As some of you may remember, we had to put our Bud down Sept. 16th. He lives on. His son ( what a goof ball) Sneek manages to get our little female Dolly and now he is the proud papa to 3 little puppies born Oct. 21. Now the 3 little puppies are up and about, walking, running, peeing, pooping on my white carpet. ( I got the carpet long before my fur kids) so here I am running after them with rags and cleaning bottle. Must look like some deranged demented creature on my hands and knees. We (me) are are working on the pee pad training, but I swear the little darlings are color blind, squat pee oops run like crazy. You are thinking, how hard can it be to catch a 4 week old puppy ?? Did I forget to mention they where born with wings ?? Or at the very least fleet of foot. They are Italian greyhounds and I swear they hit their 25 mph at the first squat !!
We keep them in a playpen at night, the little ?**** already are climbing out in the middle of the night. Talk about getting their nights and days mixed up ! At least my 2 legged kids weren't able to scale the prison walls at 4 weeks.
And to make it even better, we are going to Kansas tomorrow, just a 7 hour trip with 3 adult dogs and 3 puppies. These days I sometimes question my sanity. And try to keep Sneek and his Momma away from the food. They don't get into anything WHEN people are looking ?? But oh my turn your head and little miss Ellie scarfs down a tray of deviled eggs, and than looks at you as if to say, who me??? with egg on her face. I used to say well at least they don't talk bach. HA They do talk back and quite loudly ! Oh well at least no boredom at our home, we are the spectators each and every night at 8 pm for the grand Iggy 500. Should sell tickets.:D
So you can see what my Thanksgiving is going to be like.
But I'll take it all, good, bad, funny and frustrating, just so glad to be here on this wonderful earth. God really is good.

Sounds like lots of fun:D , i was lucky with my dog he was already house trained when we got him, but he does run rings around us. He wont even poop in our garden but seems to loves to poop outside other peoples gates. I try to pull him away but always to late, i get my bag out scoop it up and walk off hopeing nobody seen:eek:. Have a great Thanksgiving :)
