I keep having a sharp pain behind my left knee, but it doesn't occur when I'm up and moving. The last few days it's also started pulsating. Hubby thinks it's probably a muscle, or nerve, and he's probably correct, but I keep worrying that it could be a circulatory problem.
Has anyone else experience something similar and received an answer to what it is?

Time to go get electrocuted and test the nerves or you can just come to me and I'll test them for you?

Don't have a clue what that could be Mary but if it continues or if it starts to travel, go see your dr to get it checked out!

Speaking for myself, quite often, I get so many aches & pains on different parts of my body & then before you know it, they're gone! Like yesterday, the thumb on my right hand hurt so bad I was almost in tears! Today, nothing!

Hope whatever it is disappears for you too! :)

Mary. I have kinda messed up knees. Might it be something about your knee?

If you feel this pain when you stand up, just after you've been sitting awhile it could indicate that there is a meniscus problem. They call it "theater knees". Here's one link... I didn't read it all, but thought it might be more HELPFUL than Danny or Ross!!!!!

You might try putting some ice on it, like 20 minutes. Then walking gently. And some ibuprofin.

Keep us posted. Don't rule out circulatory, but consider asking your GP about a knee problem.

Best wishes.
