Hi, all--
I know this is probably a very stupid question, but what exactly does pulmonary hypertension entail?
Reading recent posts that are discussing this issue have made me think about my recent echo from August '09. My annuloplasty ring is working very well, but I have mild mitral regurg (no murmur, though!) and mild pulmonary hypertension. My cardio explained that this is just from my surgery and my lungs are healing, and will continue to do so over the next few years.
Other than feeling tightness in my chest at times and minor bouts of shortness of breath, I haven't felt impacted by PH at all.
