SO, I was sitting in my recliner and got up, turning to the right. I felt a Sharp Pain in my lower right abdomen, under my belt, about 60 degrees right of center. It is still SORE an hour or so later.

Should I go to the Local Urgent Care to see if there is an internal bleed? (YES, I am on Warfarin).

Or wait and see how it feels in the morning and then go to my PCP if it still hurts?

Quite a week we're having isn't it. Al, it doesn't sound like a bleed to me but if you start getting any swelling, bruising, nausea or just start to feel worse then you better get it checked out. It sounds like a strain or a pulled muscle if you think the pain was caused by the getting up and turning rather than something that just happened coincidentally. If they were not connected then I would be more apt to get it checked sooner. I hope you are alright.

MUCH less 'tender' and no sign of swelling or bruising today so I did NOT get it checked out.

I may reconsider that decision Friday morning, 'just in case'. I sure don't want to be going to the ER on the weekend!
