Congratulations, Tom! I've got a ways to go before my youngest leaves the nest. I know a lot of good Aggie jokes, if you ever want to hear 'em - my wife graduated from Texas Tech.

Congratulations! Now is the time to subliminally implant it in his mind that it's his duty to buy his parents a get away cottage on their own private island!

Congratulations to you all! I'm new to this site and have enjoyed so much reading about everyone. You all seem like such a great bunch of folks! Texas has some very special people!

Best of luck to your son in college. Whatever will you do with your time now? :)

what a beautiful child - his smile is just like his mom's! I know how proud of him you are. My congratulations and tell him to enjoy all his education days. They'll get him ready for the big stuff that comes later (but don't tell him this part). Good job, Parents.

Congrats to your son & to you for getting him there. My nephew graduates from high school next week so "proud aunt" here in Ohio.

Congratulations, Tom. What a handsome young man with a bright future ahead of him. Best of luck to him in his studies at Texas A&M.

I'll have a grad next year myself, and he's leaning toward Purdue right now. Ah, don't they grow up so quickly...

Congratulations!!

Congratulations!!

What a wonderful picture. Thank you for posting it. There is something about these ceremonies, long and tedious though they may sometimes be (expecially, apparently, in TEXAS!!) that just tugs on all the goodness we've ever felt as parents.

We, too will celebrate our youngest's graduation from HS, on June 7. She's our only girl (2 older brothers) so for me it will be especially bittersweet. She'll be off to Colorado for college in the fall.

Congrats to all graduating seniors!!

Congratulations, Tom. I remember going past those markers of time with my own sons. This year we have had our first grandson "graduate" from pre-school. I have not yet adjusted to the fact that he starts kindergarten in the fall. I still fight the unbidden tears.

A class of 970! I've lived in North Carolina towns with fewer people than that. When my youngest graduated from high school he had an all boy class of 5. They each had to give a speech.....had to fill up the time somehow :) .

Tom:

Wow! I didn't know that Allen High School was **that** big! I remember Allen from the '60s, when Lake Highlands High played 'em in sports, and Allen was a teeny, weeny farming community.

Where was the graduation held? Looked kinda like the SMU campus, where my niece's graduation was (she graduated from Garland High School).

Good luck to your future Aggie! I love going to College Station.

Congratulations all around Tom!

Graduations sure tug on our heartstrings.
We need milestones to make us remember where we've been, where we are, and where we're going.
My crystal ball shows you making ALOT of trip to Texas A&M!
