Hi everyone,
Tonight I done a presentation at College on aortic heart valve defect and replacement. We all had to speak for 10 minutes in front of the class on a subject of our choice and also have visual aids. I chose to do AVR as it is something which I have obviously researched. I was a bit nervous to start off with but once I got going I was okay. I covered all points and had visual aids via Power Point showing a normal aortic valve and a defective one. I also had pics of the heart op which brought gasps as I described what happened. Everyone seemed quite impressed and asked lots of questions afterwards. So my problems turned into something which I was able to educate people about.
