If you remember my grandson was born in February and had breathing problems. A few months ago he was at Scottish Rite for 8 days and diagnosed with Asthma and severe Acid Reflux. He has breathing treatments everyday and is on 2 acid reflux medications. Yesterday he suddenly started running a fever at daycare. My daughter-inlaw took him to his pediatrician and fever was 106.2 and White Blood count was 24,000. They sent him to Scottish Rite to test for RSV. His lungs are already weak from the asthma. Please pray that it is just an infection that they can easily treat. He is such a sweet baby. He just smiles all the time. I was suppose to keep him overnight for the first time tonight. I had his new bed all ready for him. I am waiting to hear from my son now to see if they got any of the test results back.

Am thinking hard about your grandson and praying its nothing serious.
Chloe has RSV as a baby, it was nasty but even with her weak lungs and heart condition she overcame it and was fine afterwards. Its a very high white blood count so there must be an infection brewing somewhere. Everything is crossed it's easily treatable and he'll be back to his smiley self soon!!Love Emma

Thank you so much Emma for letting me know that Chloe had RSV as a baby. I was so scared when I heard it might be that because his lungs are already weak. I am at work and on pins and needles waiting for the phone call from them. Of course this is a day my boss took off and I can't leave work.

My youngest Grandson had RSV, 8 days after he was born, he stayed in hospital through his first Christmas.. I am praying ..this can be hard on a tiny one..love the pup

Terry, your sweet little grandson has my prayers. Please keep us posted.

Terry,
Your grandson is in my prayers.
My niece was born two and a half months prematurely, and as a result, they gave her injections to prevent RSV. Each one cost $1000, but hopefully this
is one illness she will avoid. I pray that one day all infants will be able to receive immunization against this very serious disease.

In Agreement

I am in agreement with the prayers of the others that the sweet baby will be just fine.

Prayers for your grandson and your family. God will not deny you that chance to have him sleep over. You will get to use that new bed. It can be nerve wracking that their is a reason for everything and we rarely get to know that reason.

God Bless
John

and don't forget you need the thousand dollar shot monthly for about 6 months. After watching Justin when he had the RSV, I wish all kids could get them too.
Terry have they got the results back yet?
