Prayers for a friend

I would like to request some prayers for tomorrow around 7 am central standard time.

I have an ex-student who will be going in to have a cath done to determine exactly what is going on with her heart. She has had OH surgery before (I think she was 5) to replace a valve, and they know they will need to at least replace it again, but think they will need to do some other things as well. Please pray that the cath goes smoothly and that they can determine a course of action that will help her to feel better.

She came by to visit with me today and we talked for about half an hour. I hadn't seen her all year long, but had heard she had been having problems with her lungs and had been worrying about her. I ran into her yesterday in the front office and told her she could come by anytime to talk, and she took me up on the offer the very next day. I've given her my home number so she can let me know how everything goes, since she won't be back at school until after the Thanksgiving holiday. I'm so glad that she feels she can come to me to talk.

Silly, you're not late. She's having the cath in one hour. She should be on her way to Children's right now. I probably won't hear anything until at least Saturday. I'll update when I hear.

I think she's going into this with the right attitude. She's a little scared, but she wants it done so they can figure things out and get her to feeling better. I just pray they can figure it out. Thanks everyone for helping to get the word up to the Big Guy!
