I am Deogloria's husband and she asked me to update everyone on this forum as soon as I receive word back on how her surgery went. I am very pleased to tell everyone that I have just met with her surgeon and was told that "her surgery went exceptionally well!" Her heart performance and rhythm are very good and there are no bleeding issues. I'll see her in about 1/2 hour. She will still be very sleepy and will still have the breathing tube inserted.

Thank you to everyone who prayed for her!

Great News! Thank you for the update. Now you take a big deep breath IT'S OVER!. Also, don't forget to take care of yourself. She might need to lean on you a little in the beginning. Remind her to rest, breath, and take it slow.
Give her a hug once the tubes are out..:)

Thank you so much for letting us know. We all know how worried she was and it is great to know she is out of surgery. Don't forget to get some rest yourself as I am sure those little ones will keep you hopping.

How very lovely of you to take a moment to let us know how she is doing. Please feel free to come back here yourself with any questions or concerns (that the doctors/nurses aren't addressing for you.....go to them first, of course!!)

Fantastic news!! Keep in mind that she may look a little grey and pale for awhile, but she'll come bouncing back in no time. Some days go better than others.... recovery can be a bit of a dance.

But what a greaaaaaaattttttt start! Hooray!

Best wishes.

Marguerite

I am SO glad she finally had the surgery and is doing well! Hope everyone else (including all those kids!) is doing well!
