Plavix and....

Just a word of caution, if you take Plavix and Wellbutrin.

I've been having some new symptoms, so I went exploring online. Here's what I found.

Well, I've heard from both my neurologist and my hematologist...those two meds can interact. I've been taken off Plavix and put on 164mg of aspirin.

I had a pharmacist, though, who argued with me that there was NO WAY they would interact--and was adamant enough that he refused to even look it up! Scary!

Glad to see you off of Plavix. When I took it, I was coughing up blood and having explosive diarrhea.

I just don't think there are a whole lot of people taking it. I'd really love for everyone here that does to list the problems they've had with it.

I am on just Plavix and have been for 2 years now, i havent read the lick to the thread you posted as dont want to scare myself to death, are you just talking about the 2 meds together, or is the link about Plavix. I know i should read it, my finger keeps hoovering above the link LOL

Tex,

The problem is just Plavix and Wellbutrin together. Drugs.com is a great website, though. It lets you enter all your scripts, OTCs, and supplements, and it will flag any potential interactions.
