So...I was thinking, there must be lots of people on here keeping blogs about their surgery. Maybe it would be a good idea to share some of these on here? Yes this isn't entirely unselfish because I've just started a blog myself but I think it would be good to read everyone's in this community of ours.

Well unless your trying to make a profit by advertising, then no rules have been broken. Now if you start charging, I'll squash you like a bug.

So...I was thinking, there must be lots of people on here keeping blogs about their surgery.

I've followed several people who have written blogs before and after their surgery. Some found it useful as a way to keep family and friends updated on the goings on, while others use it to vent. My blog will hopefully be a personal record of lots of things connected with my diagnosis and its eventual outcome, a record that I can refer back to in the future, and one that might be of interest to others who follow. I think its a fine idea for those so inclined to blog about their valve disease and surgery.
