Hello everyone --- we're back! Got in Monday from our Alaskan cruise & what a magnificent trip it was! Everything went really smooth & the scenery is spectacular!

We saw many wildlife, grizzlies, moose, caribou, dall sheep, lynx cats, golden eagles, dolphins, seals, otters, & even caught a glimpse of an orca whale's tail fins...."tale of a whale!" :D

I will share some of the pics w/you. I still have to edit & enhance several pic but here are a few:

we are rich today! we got pix from Rob (of Germany cities) and now yours, too. It looks cold, beautiful and interesting. Are those two homes? They look really small. Are they? I know you had a wonderful time. Any igloos? Any polar bears?
 
Welcome Back Norma, Glad you had such a great time!!! Look forward to some more pictures and to hear some of adventures you had. I hope you brought home some fresh salmon to share.:D
 
Norma did you want to leave your photobucket album open like that or did you want to post each pic individually?
 
Go up to your post with the pic and click edit so you an see the tags used for individual pictures. I'm not to sure how safe your album is exposed to the internet. Your other option is to put those pictures in your user profile album and link to them from there.

Thanks for sharing the pictures from your trip to Alaska.

That is one place on my "Bucket List" that I must visit.
I love the outdoors and your pictures really show how beautiful it is there.

Hope you post more as you review them all from your trip.
Any idea on how many you took? :D I took 587 on my last vacation.

Thanks for the link to your photos. I've sent a link to my supervisor, who will be in Alaska next week. He & his 2 kids fly to WA on Monday, then on to Alaska. Will be on a 7-day cruise during that time.

He's been talking Alaska, Alaska for over 1 year!!!!!!

To answer your question Rob, I had (3) disks w/4.0 gb's ea which holds 999 pictures. I filled up one & half of another one, so I think I took an awful lot of pictures. And we had another canon too & I haven't even downloaded those images!!!
 
Norma, it's 9 in the morning here and brilliant sunshine is bouncing around the study as I view your excellent pics, yet I feel momentarily cold. Too much ice. :)
