Hi Folks, Two questions here, do I have to or should I pre-med myself with antibiotics (like going to the dentist) for a prostate check? Will the antibiotics interfere with the INR? Thanks for any info, Will

Assuming it's the typical rubber-glove process, it shouldn't be required. If there's a needle biopsy expected, then it might be a good idea.

The antibiotics are for actually intrusive procedures that are expected to cause bleeding in areas high in bacteria. The colon, yes. The mouth, yes. Your arm, no. Your foot - maybe. Depends on your foot...
