My current pet peeve:
Internet crashing yesterday right when I'm in the middle of typing real good stuff, and I just got the service back tonight.
And how was your day ? :rolleyes2:

Getting up in the middle of the night, forgetting the house alarm is ARMED, opening the garage door to let the cat in & scaring the heck out of everyone! :eek2:

Oh Norma, where I lived previously a friend did the same thing. Went out in the early morning in her pyjamas to look at her garden while the dog was peeing, and the silent alarm went off. Cops show up and ask her for ID. Too funny.

Except that ours is not a silent alarm & thank goodness it's not linked to the PD.......it is just LOUD......will wake up the dead!!!!

DH left for his office the other morning and mistakedly set the alarm on 'motion detectors - instant'. When I got up later, I didn't realize he had 'mis -set it' and proceeded down the stairs and set it off. That thing scared me so out of my wits, I near fell down the stairs. Our alarm is monitored and it was all I could do to answer the security questions our monitoring company requires or they send the police. A bad way to start a hot summer day......

I know exactly how you feel!!! LOL! :)

Awww, sometimes the wind is too cold, or I want to hear something on the radio. Top down, windows up. Tough noogies.:p

I've got another for ya.....

How about being awaken at 4 a.m. to the sounds of frogs croacking and a babbling brook??? Yep.... had a short power outage yesterday & I reset the alarm clock without my glasses!!! :)

Gawd...I can't even come up with a title for this. Our company hired a very 'young' 20-something as a receptionist. Besides not being able to go 5 minutes without her iPhone in her hand, her speech pattern is most annoying. She ends EVERY sentence/statment/etc. on an upnote, like she's asking a question(?)

Tass
<there she goes again on the paging system.....>

My pet peeve is when people who have appropriately been thanked respond with "O no, thank you" as though the original speaker needs to be corrected. A simple "you are welcome" strikes me as much more gracious.
