Is there any consumer-priced PDA event recorder/holter monitor so one can record irregular beats for later analysis? Many of us may already have a PDA so it would be a nice peripheral to have. It seems that with the right interface and software one could record the data and display it on the PDA or upload it to a PC for record keeping and transmission.

The trend is to do many other things through home kits so it just seems that such a device would be available eventually if not already.

Thanks for any ideas - I'm suspect someone on VR.com knows the answer.

What a great idea! If there isn't one, perhaps someone will come up with one!

Thank you Hank, for the PDA ECG monitor links. I'll call them next week to find out the prices. At least they use a standard PDA so may work with existing PDA's. The only one I found, worked with the Palm family and I didn't own a Palm e.g. http://www.activecenter.com/ However, if getting a new cell phone PDA then might consider the Treo 650 and the ActiveECG would work with that. The Treo is about $300 with 2 year cell service contract and the Active ECG is another $700 so about $1K total.
