Orlando fun??

Am going to Orlando FL for a cat show Memorial Day weekend. Am getting in early enough Friday (3:45 p.m.) so I can grab a rental car, check into my hotel, put out litterbox & food for my cat and then find a good place to eat.

Would love to have some suggestions for those of you who live in Orlando or visit there frequently.
I love shrimp, so any seafood place, preferrably local, would be great. I like any kind of food, except for liver & onions .

I will be staying near Interstate 4 and the FL turnpike, if that helps any.

Will be in Orlando on Saturday night, then flying home at 8 p.m. Sunday.

Nope.
1. Not enough time.
2. I did attend a convention in 2004 at one of the Disney properties. Loved the pool. Did not go to any of the parks.

I learned this afternoon that a friend who lives near Boulder CO will be going to Orlando for the same show. So I'm sure she's also looking forward to getting some good seafood -- and a margarita or cosmopolitan.

Marsha, find the time to at least check out Disney's Market Place. You could go to the Rain Forest for a good margarita.

I think I've been to the Market Place. There was something like that at the Disney resort I stayed at in 2004 and it was pretty good. Not sure about the Rain Forest.

The Rain Forest is a restaurant. Use to be located at the very back of the Market Place. As you walk into the market, you can go left or right. Go right and just follow the walkway. I don't believe there was any Disney Resort's near the marketplace I'm talking about.

But hey, have fun in what ever you decided to do with your spare time.
