just back from my echo and cardio, one year post-op follow-up. Here in Canada, I got one about 4 weeks post-op and this is the first since then, so I consider it a "biggie" if that makes sense - sets the tone for the rest of my life in a way.
It was (and I quote my cardio) PERFECT ! We do not worry about getting ejection fractions and all that stuff, but a perfect is pretty good!
We will do this every year for the rest of my life . . . . . just to keep checking that everything is OK.
PS I was amused to see that he didn't check my cholesterol in my bloodwork ('cos it's always been really, eally good, low bad one and high good one, and my cath showed no signs of blockages) but he did check my INR - didn't know I was hometesting!
