Happy New Year everyone.
Just wanted to report that one year after my Mechanical aortic valve redo and aortic graph surgery I am doing well. Have gained a few pounds that I shouldn't have but that is what New Year's resolutions are for.
Since I opted for the Mechanical valve to try to avoid a 3rd operation the ticking noise is a frequent reminder of the surgery and how lucky I am to be here and functioning pretty good all things considered.
Need to thank everyone here on VR.com again for their support before, during and after the procedure it really helped my family and I manage the uncertainty of what we went through.
