One week post-op, second day at home.

Hi everybody,

I just wanted to tell you that my surgery went well, and I am back at home. You people and these forums, made this journey a lot easier than it could have been. I cannot tell you how much I appreciate all the support. Today is one week post-op and my second full day at home, so when I have a bit more energy, I will give you the details, and start my support of others on this forum.

I'm right behind you, scheduled for AVR on 5/29. Even though this is my second time, I have forgotten a lot about how it was from the first time, so it is still very helpful to hear all the fresh off the press post surgery news from those who are just ahead of me such as you.

Hi Billymac,

Congrats to a successful surgery. I just had my four weeks ago. You will get better day by day. Hang in there. When I compare where I am now to where I was, it is encouraging.

great to hear things went well for you. get your rest and listen to your body when it tells you to slow down. Give it a few weeks and you will be amazed at how much better you feel.
