the morning started out great...We were going to go down and sit with our daughter while she had a Basel cancer removed from her ear...the Moh's way (sp?)Takes most of day..as they remove, sit ..while they check..remove more, sit, ect..... so I'm all dressed and had rub Arthricare lotion on my arm..Go out to walk dawg....to leave him home..sun in my eyes while I chatted with neighbor, took glasses off to rub my left eye..Yup, had forgot to wash my hands....  Pain became intense..ran back into house.. banging on bathroom door..for hubby to help me. We washed it with water..and after about 15 minutes ..quit hurting....red..but went away..Then as we were leaving house, Dawg ran out the door.Never done that before..he just wanted to go with us..so we let him.....Stayed for 4 hours with daughter in cold waiting room with 10 others..All looked the same with either a bandage on their nose, forehead, top of head, ect...S/I/L arrived to stay with her until they finished. she called and had just gotten home..In pain, but gave her pain pills.......I told her to go to bed and let S/I/l take care of kids.........A pumphead moment about my eye?4 years later..No, just not thinking...No smell to this lotion like Ben-Gay..so be careful.Always wash your hands after using any pain lotion..Bonnie

If I were not trying so hard to get my arm feeling good enough for the trip..I wouldn't have used the &%$#@...lotion to start ...:p With Mary's sunburn and my aching arm..you may spend the weekend rubbing us with lotion.:D :D :p Bonnie

Bonnie. I can't believe you opened up the door for Danny on that one!! Rubbing lotion on you two? Whoa. :p :p

Sorry you had such a crazy day. I had to sit through a Moh's with my father and the waiting room is a rather sorry place to be, what with all the walking wounded. Good thing they got to her, though. You want those things gone!! I hope she will be resting comfortably soon. We know how good pain meds can be!

I'm sorry for your poor eye! I bet the dog was somewhat frantic because you were rushing around strangely. They are so intuitive....he was probably scared.

Please have a wonderful trip and a fabulous time with the VR group.

:) Marguerite

My daughter is in her 30's..the other 10 people..elderly in their late 70's, 80.'s........Skin cancer shows up late in life...Too much sun... All on their face, head...... she asked her doctor, why did I have one on my ear. he said, the ears stick out..during early life. One should always wear a hat in the sun..I'm one to talk......Have had 2 basel cancers..one on my nose and 1 on outside of eye....Yet, I'm as brown as an Indian...Only been in sun..for 3 weeks...My mom was 1/2 choctaw Indian... Daughter got her skin from Swedish Father.............Bonnie
