...just can't wait to get on that road again...;).

I'm preparing for my East-bound Road Trip. Tentative (sketchyish) plans are....

WED, AUG 6 ... leave IL in the morning, bound for central IN

THU, AUG 7 ... leave IN in the morning, bound for mid-SE MI

FRI, AUG 8 ... leave MI in the morning, bound for NE OH

SAT, AUG 9 ... leave OH for SW PA (Family Reunion)

SUN, AUG 10 ... in Pittsburgh/Johnstown area

MON, AUG 11 ... leave PA early morning, bound for NW VA

TUE, AUG 12 ... in VA

WED, AUG 13 ... leave VA early morning, bound for middle TN

THU, AUG 14 ... in TN

FRI, AUG 15 ... leave TN, bound for MO ... OR stay in TN

SAT, AUG 16 ... leave MO, bound for home ... OR leave TN, bound for home

Yep, this all means that I'll be away from the computer a bit...but, I'm sure I'll catch up "eventually" when I get back ;). Besides, after everything earlier this year, I think it's about time I get back to my "regular trips" :).

In the meantime, let me know if you are interested in meeting up with me along the way. With the exception of the drive from VA to TN, my drives are mainly less than 6 hours at a time, which should provide some flexibility in meeting up with people &/or taking minor detours en route to my final destination each day. It'd be cool to meet as many people as possible along the way :).

Hmmm...maybe next summer I can plan a west-bound trip :).

Peace...always,

Are you going to beep as you go by this time?

I don't know how you do this all the time, but I hope you never stop. Take care Cort. It's gotta be tough on you. :)

Tough on Cort? I don't think so. As a younger pup, I used to do similar things. We enjoyed all the travelling, even if there was work involved. I used to travel on weekends over about a 10-state region judging and managing custom car shows. That was in addition to a regular job and night school. Ah, the energy of youth!

Cort - Are you driving that new (well, new to you) MC?

Stay out of trouble, but have a good trip.

Dave...yep, a lot of miles ahead of me...but, I *love* to drive, so I will definitely have a blast ;).

Ross...of course I'll beep! I might even stop, if ya like...LOL. Heh..actually, I don't even know how I do this all the time...but, it's a passion for me...and, well, I might as well be doing something I enjoy :).

Steve...LOL...eh, it might be a bit tough...but, as I mentioned, it's something I enjoy...so I manage :). Besides, can't let this darn pig's valve beat me ;). Heh...energy is good, but alas, I know some who have more energy than me...LOL! And, yes, I'm driving the "new to me" '87 MC LS :). I can't wait to get it out on the open road again! As for staying out of trouble...what's the fun in that ;) ?
