I am still off line regarding my computer. I ordered a brand new one and it should be here on Monday. I am using my husband's lap top. I haven't been using it because it's not working very well either. Computers, Ugh!!

I feel like I have been out of contact with the world. I've got a lot of reading to do to catch up. I have a hard time typing with his keyboard so excuse the typing errors. My key board is so different than his.

I've been feeling pretty good. My white blood counts are up so we are watching that. My Cobra ran out July 1st and my other insurance won't even start to cover the expense of the medicine for the CML. At the presence time I am trying to go directly thorugh the companythat makes Gleevec. This medicine alone costs about $2,600 a month. There is no way that I could pay this much or even half this much. What's a person to do??? :( :(

Hi Lyn I'm sorry to hear about your son. I hope he is doing okay. I had a AVR on June 2nd last year. I am just now starting to contact people in the cancer field. Hopefully they can help. I have about five months of the medicine on hand so I'll be okay for a while unless I have to double up my dosage. Usually that only happens when my white count goes extremely high.

Thanks for your offer of help. I may need it.

Hi, Glenda. It's so nice to see your smiling face back on. :) :) I'm so sorry to hear about your insurance woes. You've been through so much, and you don't deserve this. Take care and know you're in my thoughts.
