I have a question.....

Am I the only one who has gone out for a ride with someone and ended up sooooo exhausted just from riding in a car??? Could this be a sign that things are starting to get worse??? Any advice would be greatly appreciated....Harrybaby666  :( :( :D

I hate riding in a car for long trips..Just going down 1 hour to kids house. You have to stop, pump gas, deal with traffic, Get to where you are going..then shopping, ect. and the hour ride home. I'm always tired......Plus we deal with a very active Papillon (small dog) that has to sit in my lap and look out window. then starts jumping around at every stop light..wanting to chat with people in next car. :D :D He knows when we pull into kid's neighborhood and goes bonkers knowing his dog cousins live there. :D :D My motorhome trips are much better. Hubby does the driving and I just sit there and sightsee and dog sleeps on floor.Today, the traffic was 7 miles backed up into our Village for Labor Day Fun.. Thankfully, I only had to go a few hundred feet to get into Horseback Riding for Hubby and Grandson..Beauty of living in a tourist town. Know the back roads..but those poor people coming up my Atlanta..Spend more time sitting in a car than out and about having fun. Bonnie

Seems to me a long ride in a car that makes you tired isn't neccesarily a heart related problem....

I mean, a long road trip kind of thing can be tiring for ANYONE, regardless of their heart status, including little kids who are "famous" for falling asleep on long car rides...

Wish my son would STAY asleep though when the ride was over. Rarely can I get him out of his car seat, into the house, and into his bed before he wakes up.

Hi Harpoon..

Hi Harpoon..

Evening Harpoon,

I seem to be getting more and more fatigued with even the little trips (to go pay bills, grocery shopping, etc.). After about an hour, I am ready to fall right asleep. I guess I need to learn how to communicate better....sorry for the misclarification....Harrybaby666

Thank Goodness....

Thank Goodness....

Morning Hensy,

I am soooo glad that I am not alone in this, because it tells me that I should mention this to my cardiologist when I see him Wednesday morning....

How you holding up with the hurricane Hensy, I hope your not getting anything where you are. If you are, please stay safe and strong. Thanks for the support. Harrybaby666 :D :D :D

Hi Harry,

I just got back from visiting my dad and we spent almost every afternoon driving around the countryside. We didn't do very much, but I sure can relate to how tiring sitting in a car for a couple of hours can be. I wonder if this also has anything to do with being in a very sedentary position.... after all, it's much easier to move around sitting on your couch (for instance), than strapped into a car seat - maybe it's the decrease in movement and circulation of blood...?

All I can suggest is to try and get as much rest as you can, when you can.

All the best
Anna : )
