As to PAP (pulmonary arterial pressure) you will find it well explained here http://trials.actelion.com/asp/Trial_Registry/StudyInfo.asp?ST=AC-051-350

Welcome Kumar,

God will be with you and you will make it through perfectly!

Hi Kumar

From my understanding of Pap, it is blood pressure monitoring. Normally done non-invasively with a cuff around your arm. During heart surgery blood pressure is measured via an arterial line inserted in the carotid artery in your neck.

Best of luck to you!
