I am approaching my one year anniversary for AVR, diagnosed with BAV in 1999 at 27 yoa. For Several months I have experienced intermitant pain under the left collarbone. The onset is very quick and goes away just as fast. It only happens at the begining of physical exertion specifically cardio. It does not occur everytime. It's not really pain as much as it startles me. It only lasts for a few seconds the goes away. The cardiologist stated I will always have aches or funny sensation in the chest area but this concerns me. Prior to surgery CT scan and chest x-ray were normal and my cholesterol has been good my entire life. Not that it makes a difference but during OHS there was a complication with the cannulation of the femoral and a 10mm graft was inserted. Any thoughts are appreciated. Thanks for looking.
