I am coming up on 3 years since I had my aortic valve replaced with a mechanical one. I am 50 years old and still overweight, as I have been for the past 6 or 7 years.
I have been seeing the infomercials for the Nutribullet and bought one a few weeks back, but I haven't started using it yet. I was wondering if anyone else has used one and what were your results concerning blood thinning levels and such. My doctor thinks it will be fine, though I may need some close monitoring for a while.

I am curious to see what you all think.

Just an opinion here. First since I don't have a mechanical valve I won't comment on inr results. Not having heard of the device, I googled it and found that like any other food processor/blender it certainly will make a difference what food you put into it. One of the comments on the review page I read is that you will still need count calories of the food you are preparing and of course exercise will still be important. That being said I wish you well in your weight loss goals.

I am a person who has been on the weight roller coaster for a long time. Finally in Feb of this year I became fed up with the way I looked plus my weight has finally begun to impact my blood glucose reading (I'm type 2 diabetic). So I just decided that enough was enough and have cut my food portions to a reasonable amount plus I do aerobic walking with light weight training 5 days a week. If I loose weight fine and if I don't that will be OK also. So just find what works for you and go for it.
