Hi everyone,

Everything has been going really good for me for quite sometime now but this evening while cooking dinner my left pinky went numb suddenly, as i started to freak out about it feeling came back and now its fine. I remember something like this happening before and it brought on a pretty bad anxiety attack. I have been running 4 miles almost every night and eating pretty healthy. My INR levels are at 3.1 (my optimal range is 2.5-3.5). My blood pressure is 125/77.
The past couple weeks have been horribly stressful for me, i have been moving, not sleeping well and just very very stressed.
Any ideas on what this could have been? Has anyone else had a similar totally random experience like this?

Thanks,
Tommy

I experienced something similar except mine was in my toes after 15-20 minutes on the treadmill. Turns out I had a pinched nerve. Maybe you've got some sort of compression originating in the wrist or hand that caused the numbness?

Hey there Tommy, good to hear from you.
You say you've been moving. Are you lifting heavy items or doing repetitive motion with your hand/wrist? It could be a pinched nerve. Try stretching your fingers -wiggle them fingers and reach for the ceiling.
This would help me, as I used to work for a moving company and did a lot of repetitive work.
Good Luck

Thanks

Thanks for the good info everyone, so it doesnt sound like a stroke or heart attack symptoms? I haven't been lifting anything heavy and other than the numb pinky for a minute i feel great...

I got a numb pinky from my latest surgery. My cardio said it might go away, but it radiated from the crazy bone nerve area of the elbow on the left, too. He said I might have to train myself to sleep with my palm facing up, to let up on the nerve. It must've been pressing on the surgery table for all those hours of surgery. Half my ring finger is also affected. It has gotten a bit better in the last few days. My doc called it something medical, but I didn't commit it to memory. He also said thin people are prone to it.
