Oh My God Yaps.....

Oh My God Yaps.....

How are you and yours holding up through all of this? I keep praying that everything will be allright with everyone down there, and especially the elderly, the infants and all the animals. We had a story in our local paper about how upset this little boy was when the law enforcement forcibly took his dog snowball from him, and now they are trying to reuinite them, but I havent heard anything more. I am just so incredibly shocked and saddened at how the govt is handling this. Your in my heart, thoughts and prayers. Harrybaby  :D  :D

It has been unfortunate that the media coverage has been focused on NO when so many others in LA & AL were displaced and had such tragedy as well. I don't think you are taking away from NO, I think more attention needs to be focused on other areas. Thanks for sharing albeit sad information.

How awful this has been. I cannot imagine being there right now.

I guess we are all "lucky" we didn't decide on NO for our reunion this year. :(

I thankfully am on a hill and havent flooded all the years Ive been here(21), the road leading to the highway has a dip..and does flood..so we usually are housebound.. my neighbor floods bad..I mean just a thunderstorm can make his living room a pool.I didnt want my section of the gulf to be forgotten. It isnt as bad as NO, but bad enough.
We finally seem to be getting gas in our stations, and school buses have fuel.
Many of our churches have refugees, survivors. many corporate stores have dislocated employees here, and trust me there is work for them. We have always had a labor shortage...
Anyway... just wanted to show these ..Johns Aunt lives in Daphne and her husband is part of the rescue teams..he took these shots.
Love the pup

oh my - the tunnel! I have not seen any damage pictures but knew there was lots of it in Mobile. Have you heard how I-10 and 90 are going into Mobile? I only know about the gaps outside of N.O. and Miss. Good to know you are dry. This one will take forever to fix - if it gets fixed, which I doubt.
