No April Fools Joke......

Things where somewhat unnerving last week in my small city of 268,000 people.
First a truck skidded of the freeway, flipped onto it's roof and landing in a construction site, just a couple of meters from the rivers edge. Then there a was a "jumper" on one of many bridges we have. The jumper was talked off the bridge and the two occupants in the truck had minor injuries.

But this last one is a sickening. It happened on Friday...April 1st. Of course one would think it was a joke as it slowly hit the internet, but it was no joke. Some of you may have already seen and heard about this. This tragic accident happened only minutes away from my house.......one died and two where released from hospital today.

I too thought it was staged fools bit when I saw a plane wreck in front of a 60Kph (35mph) speed sign

In that link there is a photo gallery. There is one picture of a crowd of on lookers....they are standing behind a gas station. yikes how close was that?
