Nifedipine users??? is it good?

I was just wondering if anyone here know's anything about the calcium channel blocker nifedipine? Can it be used in conjunction with beta blocker toprol xl and digoxin? I ask b/c I am going to bring up this med to my family doctor tomorrow and see if she might reccomend it either to complement the toprol/digoxin or if she reccomends it at all.. in my case.

I don't see my cardio until april 12 and in the mean time am miserable with tachy arrhythmia, sob and tiredness as well as on/off chest pains.
