A good link!

A good link!

Hi Burair! I trust you are faring well these days.

That is a good link. They seem very serious about their knowledge and wishes to educate. Thanks for the link!

When my children were babies I discovered a book which my kids have all taken off to college now (actually, hm, I no longer have a copy here at home  ;) ). Similarly, it recommends ways to stay healthy. What I like about this book is that it has exhaustive charts in the back of the book giving you breakdowns of many foods/calories/amount of vitamins and minerals in a serving, etc. AND in the main text, after concise descriptions of all vitamins and minerals, you can look up specific health grievances (migraines, digestive disturbances, skin disorders, etc.) and find suggestions for what vitamin could be lacking and how, through food choice, you can improve your situation. It has been updated (5th edition 2001), though I'm not sure the Carb Craze has made it into the text!

Here's the link from Amazon for the Nutrition Almanac

Hi Burair,

Thank you for the links.

Have you been in a local Whole Foods store? If not...try to check one out. Think you will like it! :)
