Hello,

I am also a vet of the surgeon's scalpel but new to this site and am in need of some direction. I am a biscuspid aortic valve repair survivor and I wanted to share my situation with a group in the hopes that I can get feedback and help on what currently ails me. The problem is I don't know where to begin. So my question is where should I post my story? In this forum, in another forum, at another link within this site or should I email members directly? Your help is greatly appreciated. I hope to receive the same benefits from this community that this web site has, from the testimonials I've read, given to so many others. Thank you for your help.

Johnny

Johnny,
Welcome to the site. Actually the best forum would be the Heart Talk forum. That forum is for general heart problems, questions, etc. So tell your story and ask your questions and I am sure you will receive a great deal of assistance.

Hi Johnny, welcome to vr.com forums. Don't worry too much about where you post. Heart talk or post op would be good but our dear moderator can move your post if you put it into recipes or something. ;)

I'm anxious to hear your story as we don't have very many here who have had aortic valve REPAIR. Pillar Paul was one who did but I can't think of many others off hand. Where and when did you have it done and how are you doing.?

Hi Johnny and welcome to the site! I'm sure you'll be able to post your story in here no problem. There is also a section for that which is not in the forum. Go to the front page and click on STORIES to view other membes'. I can't really remember how you post yours there, but if I'm not mistaken, you have to email it to Hank who's the owner of the site, and after reading it he'll do that for you. There's also a wonderful guy here called Ross who's always willing to help out so, you can go to SUPPORT and he'll give you the right directions. I hope this has helped. Take care.
